Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Mana Mix (the "game") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The game is made by Rookalet Games ("we", "us"). If you have any questions, email support@rookaletgames.com.
What we collect
Your game account
The first time you play, the game creates an anonymous account for you. It isn't tied to your name or email unless you choose to sign in with Google Play Games. We store:
- A random account ID and a public player ID (for example
PM-1234). - Your game progress: levels, scores and stars, experience and level, items, gold, crystals, garden, achievements, daily and weekly tasks, Weekly results and badges, and settings that affect your account.
- The display name and portrait you choose in the game.
- Your friends list and friend requests.
- When your account was created and when you last played, and which version of the game and platform (for example Android) you use.
- Records of in-game purchases and of rewards you chose to receive by watching an ad.
Google Play Games sign-in (optional)
If you sign in with Google Play Games, we receive your Play Games account identifier, your Play Games display name and the link to your profile picture. We use them to keep your progress on the same account across devices and to show your name and picture in the game. We do not receive your password.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Google Play. We receive a record of what was bought so we can give it to you, but we never receive your card number or other payment details.
Crash reports
If the game crashes, it saves a short report and sends it the next time you play: the error, where in the game it happened, the game version and platform, and your player ID. We use these only to find and fix bugs.
Technical information
Like any online service, our servers (Google Firebase / Google Cloud) automatically process technical data such as your IP address and request times in order to work and to keep the game secure. This data is kept in short-lived server logs.
How we use it
- To run the game: save your progress, sync it between devices, and deliver what you earn or buy.
- To show leaderboards, Weekly rankings and friends.
- To keep the game fair: scores are checked, and accounts with impossible results may be flagged for review.
- To understand how the game is played (for example how many players reach each level, and which versions are in use) so we can fix problems and balance the game.
- To answer you when you contact support.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
What other players can see
Other players can see your display name, portrait (or Play Games picture, if you signed in), player ID, level, online status and scores on leaderboards and Weekly rankings. Players you add as friends can also see when you were last online.
Who we share it with
- Google Firebase / Google Cloud hosts our servers and stores your account data.
- Google Play handles purchases and the optional Play Games sign-in.
We may also share information if the law requires it. We don't share it with anyone else.
Ads
The game only shows an ad when you choose to watch one for a reward. If we add an ad network, this policy will be updated to name it and describe what it collects before it is used.
Children
Mana Mix is meant for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email support@rookaletgames.com and we will delete it.
Kids Mode
Mana Mix also has a Kids Mode for when a younger family member is playing on the device. While it is on, nothing can be bought, no reward ads are offered, and Friends is turned off. Turning it off asks a question meant for a grown-up.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in the game: Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently deletes your progress, items, currencies, profile and friends, and removes you from other players' friends lists. Past Weekly ranking summaries may keep your player ID and rank, but are no longer linked to any account.
You can also ask us to delete your account or send you a copy of your data by emailing support@rookaletgames.com with your player ID (shown in Settings → Account).
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, and to object to how it is used. Email us and we will help.
Security
Your data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with Google's cloud services. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Big changes will also be announced in the game.
